Many new angels earned their wings at the 2nd Annual Wine Tasting on April 7 at the St. Philip parish center in Ashford. Nearly 300 people contributed over $13,000 in free will offerings to benefit the only free girls’ school in Haiti. Ecole Agape (School of Love) is a primary school serving 200 students grades one through six in Lilavois, a town outside of Port-au-Prince. Donations fund teacher salaries, school supplies, a new library, and a nutritional school meal program. In addition, some wine tasting participants personally donated fifteen laptops, solar lights, and a mobile media center.
